Wilson County - Appointments on Wednesdays 9:00-11:15, 1:00-4:15
(May call for information or appt. Monday - Friday)

Woodson County - Appointments on Thursday after the 2nd Monday 9:30-3:30 Odd months only (Jan*March*May*July*Sept*Nov) Located at the Yates Center EMS building. May call or come to the Wilson Co. Health Dept. for information or appointments.
 

~What is WIC?~
 WIC is a temporary assistance program for Woman, Infants & Children who have a nutritional need for the program.
WIC provides positive prenatal & birth outcomes
WIC improves children's health
 

~Who Does WIC Help?~
WIC helps families who have special needs for healthy foods. You or your family members may qualify if:
*You are pregnant*You are breastfeeding an infant under 1 year*Have had a baby in the last 6 months*Have an infant or child under 5 years
 

~How do you Qualify for WIC?~
WIC serves Kansas residents
(Wilson Co. Health Dept. serves residents of Wilson & Woodson Counties)
Who are of the above qualifications
 and who meet WIC income Guidelines: Household income at or below 185% of the poverty level (a household of 2 can earn up to $25,327 and become eligible; a household of 4 can earn up to $38,203 per year).
