Elderly Care Services~
The
Wilson County Health Department provides in home care services
to individuals who need assistance with their activities of
daily living. These services include the
 following:

*Housekeeping *Laundry
*Meal Preparation *Shopping
*Running errands *Money Management
*Personal Care
*Medication Management
*Wellness Monitoring |
Our attendant care staff have
received the proper education and training needed to provide
these services and work under supervision of a registered
nurse.
The Health Department
contracts with the Southeast Kansas Area Agency on Aging to
provide these services to those individuals over the age of 65
or have a disability who qualifies for state funded programs
such as HCBS (Home and Community Based Services), Senior Care
Act,
and Older American Act. We also accept private payment
for those who do not qualify
for these programs.
